Vanessa Leegstra Recovery from Grizzly Bear Attack

Hi, my name is Brittany and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Vanessa Leegstra.

On June 30th, Vanessa was attacked by a grizzly bear while on a run. Her dog Luna was able to scare off two of the grizzly bears while the third went after Vanessa. She was able to fight it off, however she suffered with severe injuries. She is currently recovering at the Whitehorse hospital, but has a long road ahead of her.

At this time, her family is in need of support since her husband Dave will be unable to work while he takes care of her and their daughter Rosalie. Anything will help and they are very thankful for the support.
