This week, our family experienced a devastating tragedy. One of our beloved, Vanessa Lee Henry, was taken from us in a senseless act of violence. They’ve been robbed of their lives and our hearts are shattered.

Vanessa was so much more than a victim—she’s a daughter, a sibling, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, and someone who brought light to our lives. She didn’t deserve this. We are still trying to process this loss, and in the midst of our grief, we are faced with the financial burden of funeral and burial expenses.
