Vanessa Givens (Herrera)

We are the family of Vanessa Givens (Herrera) — a beloved wife, devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who passed away far too soon. Vanessa was only 38 years old when her journey was cut short, leaving behind a beautiful 11-month-old son, Ezra, who was the light of her life.

Vanessa poured every bit of her heart into being a mother. Her greatest joy was watching Ezra grow, smile, and discover the world around him. She dreamed of a full, bright future for him — one filled with love, stability, and possibility.

In her honor, we have created this GoFundMe to raise funds that will go directly toward Ezra’s future — to help provide for his education, care, and well-being as he grows up without the mother who loved him more than anything.
