I am Vanessa's and Luis's comadre, Jamie Padilla, raising funds to support their family in the aftermath of the devastating loss of their Altadena home in the Eaton wildfire.

With little time to prepare for evacuation, they left only with their most important documents, leaving all their family heirlooms and valuables behind, along with all the practical things they need in day-to-day life.

Vanessa and Luis's Altadena home has been a place of gathering, memory creating, and sharing for so many of us. As they've so generously opened their doors to us for celebrations and in our hard times, let's support them in their moment of loss and devastation.
