HELP SUPPORT KEITH COUNTY SHERIFF DEPUTY
I am swallowing my pride for my family in order to save my wife's life and our house. I hate to cry out for help but I have found myself stuck with no other choices but to ask for help and to pray.
I am a:
-Husband,
-Father to a special needs son and 2 beautiful daughters,
-Active Law Enforcement Officer with the Keith Couny Sheriff's Office.
The money that my wife needs is to fund a complete bowel transplant that is expected to cost in excess of $200,000 as well as paying off the $103,000 in outstanding medical debt that insurance will not pay.($40, 000 was covered) All of which has accrued in the last year and has now been turned over to collections.
My wife was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) about a year ago and soon there after contracted C-Diff causing her to rapidly lose weight, she dropped from 145 lbs, and is now down to a scary 94lbs. She has had two partial bowel transplants and the doctors now say she will need a complete bowel transplant that they hope will help her. Though they do not truly know the answers to why any of this is going on. In order to keep her alive she receives potassium and magnesium infusions two to three times a week to keep her heart and nervous system going, the transfusions help her greatly. There are some weeks she has to recieve blood transfusions as well. The day before she goes to the hospital for her transfusion I carry her to and from the bed to give her showers and maintain personal hygiene. She is so weak i have to hold her head up to wash her hair and bathe her in the tub. She struggles to even hug our children. She also has recently begun having Grand mal seizures and has also developed Celiacs Disease on top of everything else.
I hate seeing her like this.
She was a single mother of 3 children in an abusive relationship when we met. We grew close and her children soon accepted me as their father. She worked in the medical field for over 15 years helping her patients in any way she could, caring for others with sickness and disease. We do not know why the tables have turned and why she now is now the one being cared for. But we remind ourselves daily and encourage everyone to remember,
