My dad was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia with 17p/tp 53 deletion in September of 2016. Only 6% of leukemia patients get 17p/tp53 deletion. CLL patients can live an extended amount of time but with 17p/tp53 that changes. People with 17p/tp53 have been known to live as long 10 years providing it doesn't get aggressive. My dads on the other hand is getting aggressive, which drops life expectancy to 3 to 5 years. Since there is no known cure or treatment for CLL with 17p/tp 53 deletion at this time, the goal is to get holistic treatments that are showing signs of effectiveness. The sooner the treatments start, the better. Holistic treatments are very expensive and we need all the help we can get. We are believing for a miracle from God and are staying positive and hopeful!
