Van / transportation need for David Tullos
David is a friend who worked at Forrest General several years ago. He quit due to several medical issues that require him to travel to UAB every 3 months. Recently the transmission in his van went out and it would cost more to fix than what the van is worth.
He lives alone here in Hattiesburg. We all try to help him when we can to get groceries, mail and run other errands. But he would like some of his independence back and a used van would give him that.
He is disabled and dependent on a wheelchair and scooter. A van would allow him to be able to transport these with him.
Any monetary amount you could donate would be appreciated.
If anyone happens to know someone with a van in decent condition they would like to donate, please let us know.
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
