#VamosPuesQueTúPuedes – Una historia de fe, lucha y resiliencia

El 8 de junio de 2021 parecía un día normal, hasta que un dolor abdominal intenso me dejó sin aliento. Estaba embarazada de 35 semanas con un embarazo sin complicaciones, pero algo no estaba bien. Fui a emergencias, y después de 24 horas sin un diagnóstico claro, asumieron que era una molestia prenatal y me dieron de alta.

El dolor continuó hasta la madrugada del 10 de junio, cuando mi niña nació de forma prematura y sin oxígeno en su cerebro. Fue trasladada de emergencia a otro hospital para recibir tratamiento (una historia que contaré en otra ocasión). Mientras tanto, yo seguía en el mismo hospital, con síntomas cada vez más graves.

El 12 de junio, tras varios estudios, finalmente descubrieron que tenía una disección aórtica, y para entonces, mis órganos digestivos ya estaban comprometidos. No había esperanzas médicas para mí… solo un milagro. Y el milagro ocurrió.

Después de varias cirugías de larga duración, el 16 de junio volví a nacer. Sobreviví a esa primera batalla y pasé tres meses y medio hospitalizada, con colostomía, alimentación por vía central, drenajes y un sinfín de tratamientos cada pocas horas.

“La Segunda Temporada” – Un nuevo intento por la vida

En febrero de 2022, me sometí a una cirugía con la esperanza de recuperar mi sistema digestivo y poder volver a comer normalmente. Aunque la operación fue un éxito, mi cuerpo necesitaba más tiempo para sanar. Con el paso de los días, surgieron nuevas complicaciones y filtraciones internas que me llevaron de vuelta al quirófano en múltiples ocasiones.

Pasé 10 meses hospitalizada en esta segunda temporada de mi historia. El 7 de diciembre de 2022, me dieron de alta, pero con una ileostomía, un tubo de alimentación en el abdomen, nutrición por vía central y una larga lista de tratamientos. Aun así, salí con fe y esperanza, convencida de que Dios tenía un propósito para mí.

“La Tercera Temporada” – La batalla final

Hoy me encuentro en la última etapa de mi historia, habiendo superado prueba tras prueba, aferrándome a mi fe y encontrando fuerzas en mi interior para seguir adelante. Me estoy preparando física y mentalmente para mi próxima cirugía, y por eso he creado este GoFundMe.

Toda esta travesía ha significado un gasto incalculable, pero Dios siempre provee lo que necesito en el momento justo. Quiero seguir compartiendo mi historia, inspirando a otros a no rendirse, y ayudando a quienes atraviesan situaciones difíciles.

#VamosPuesQueTúPuedes – A Story of Faith, Struggle, and Resilience

June 8, 2021, seemed like a normal day until an intense abdominal pain took my breath away. I was 35 weeks pregnant with a healthy pregnancy, but something was wrong. I went to the emergency room, and after 24 hours without a clear diagnosis, they assumed it was just a prenatal discomfort and discharged me.

The pain continued until the early hours of June 10, when my baby girl was born prematurely and without oxygen in her brain. She was rushed to another hospital for emergency treatment (a story I will share another time). Meanwhile, I remained in the same hospital, with worsening symptoms.

On June 12, after several tests, doctors finally discovered that I had an aortic dissection, and by then, my digestive organs were already severely compromised. There was no medical hope for me… only a miracle. And the miracle happened.

After undergoing multiple long and complex surgeries, on June 16, I was given a second chance at life. I survived that first battle and spent three and a half months hospitalized, with a colostomy, central line feeding, multiple drains, and countless treatments every few hours.

“The Second Season” – A New Fight for Life

In February 2022, I underwent surgery with the hope of restoring my digestive system and being able to eat normally again. While the surgery was initially successful, my body needed more time to heal. In the following days, I developed internal leaks, leading to severe complications and multiple additional surgeries.

I spent 10 months hospitalized in this second season of my story. On December 7, 2022, I was discharged, but I left the hospital with an ileostomy, a feeding tube in my abdomen, central line nutrition, and a long list of medical treatments. Yet, I walked out with faith and hope, convinced that God had a purpose for me.

“The Third Season” – The Final Battle

Today, I am in the final stage of my journey, having overcome challenge after challenge, holding onto my faith, and finding the strength to keep moving forward. I am now preparing myself physically and mentally for my next surgery, which is why I have created this GoFundMe.

This entire journey has involved an unimaginable financial burden, but God has always provided exactly what I need at the right moment. I want to continue sharing my story, inspiring others to never give up, and helping those who are facing difficult situations.
