Let’s help Renata’s family!

Hi everyone! My name is Carla Solano and I created this fundraising to help a very special Brazilian friend, that is also part of Lynn Valley Families. About a month ago, Renata's mother was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, and the situation is rapidly deteriorating. Renata’s mom is fighting alone in Brazil, in severe pain, and has no financial means to bring Renata to help her. Renata has 4 children, two of them under 4 years old. She works twice a week as a Kitchen helper and also as a nanny, but unfortunately she cannot afford the tickets right now. Renata needs to see her mother and be able to help her for 1 month, so that, at least, she can get some assistance there. Being away from family, especially when they are sick is so hard. That's why I come here to ask for your help... Renata and her family are very active in the community, always helping when needed. Any contribution is welcome or, if you can't, just share it. Many of you in the group know me, either from LV Elementary, soccer, swimming, basketball, and you know that I wouldn't open a fundraising if I didn’t have to. This family needs us! The goal is to collect the amount to cover the flight tickets for her children (3 kids and 1 baby). Renata cannot travel without the children, as her husband, works full time and cannot stop working at this time to take care of them. Please guys, let's help! Share! / Olá pessoal! Meu nome é Carla e eu criei esse fundraising para ajudar uma brasileira muito especial, a Renata. Há cerca de um mês a mãe da Renata foi diagnosticada com câncer no intestino e a situação está se agravando rapidamente. A senhora está lutando sozinha, com fortes dores, e sem condições financeiras de trazer a Renata para ajudá-la. A Renata tem 4 filhos, sendo dois deles abaixo de 4 anos. Ela trabalha duas vezes na semana à noite como Ajudante de Cozinha e também trabalha como babá, mas infelizmente ela não tem condições financeiras de viajar agora. A Renata precisa ver a mãe e poder ajudá-la por 1 mês, para que, pelo menos, ela consiga alguma assistência por lá. Ver a mãe adoecer de longe não é fácil, e, com certeza, é um dos maiores medos do Imigrante. Por isso eu venho aqui pedir sua ajuda… Qualquer contribuição é bem-vinda ou, se não puder, apenas compartilhe. Muitos aqui no grupo me conhecem, e sabem que eu não abriria um fundraising sem necessidade. O objetivo é arrecadar o valor para cobrir a passagem das crianças (3 crianças e 1 bebê no colo). A Renata não tem como viajar sem os filhos, pois o marido, Rodrigo, trabalha full time e não pode parar de trabalhar nesse momento para cuidar das crianças. Por favor pessoal, vamos ajudar!
