Valparaiso Coffee Roasters Stolen Generator

Donation protected
“Good morning my people! I hope everyone is having a great day! We just want to let everyone know we will not be out on the mean streets of Fresno until we can resolve an issue we had last night. While working at our friends from spokeasy in Tower, we had one of our generators stolen in the middle of our shift. The way our truck is built we need 3 generators to be able to run all of our coffee equipment and food fridges which requires A LOT of power! As a small business, like many others, we struggle just to survive on a daily basis. Our transition to our roasting facility from our cafe has been extremely challenging and has taken a massive toll on us financially, Setting us back on many things until we can hopefully catch up and keep our business running. Although it may not seem like a big deal, to us this is a huge setback in continuing to operate our business. This sets us back thousands of dollars from lost sales as days pass and having to purchase another one. We have gotten many messages this morning to ask why we’re not at locations so we wanted to be transparent with all of you! We will not be out on the truck until we can get this taken care of. We hope everyone understands and we plan on getting your coffee and food items to you as soon as possible. We really apologize for the inconvenience this causes to those of you who count on us.

Thank you Mario & Shannon”

This is the message Valparaiso Coffee Roasters published this morning on their social media! Mario & Shannon are really good friends of ours and we were not going to let them struggle through this alone! I know we, as a community, can all get behind them and help support this cause to help our friends get back up and running their business and food truck.
We’re setting the ultimate goal at $4,000 in order to be able to get them a good generator again along with good security chains and/or cords to keep it well secured while on their work shift. As well as helping out a bit with the loss of revenue this has caused to their daily income as a small business.

Anything and everything helps, even as small as a share of this link! Please pass the word along and we all greatly appreciate the help!
