Valerie's Path to Success Needs Your Help

I'd first like to congratulate Valerie Conklin for receiving a full ride scholarship to complete her Masters degree. Valerie is a great kid, and this accomplishment proves her commitment to school and her future. For those of you who don't know, Valerie is my first cousin once removed, my daughter's second cousin, my folks grand-niece, and (most importantly), Susan Godfrey's daughter.

However, the scholarship includes a hidden cost- Participants must purchase an Apple Macbook Pro, a major expense for a starving student.

To help out, I've established this Gofundme page with a target amount of $2,500. Valerie should be able to buy a Macbook for less, but knowing Apple products, she'll also need cables, chargers and other peripherals to make use of the computer.
