Hi my name is Valerie ‍I’m 12 years old and I was born with cerebral palsy.  I’m quadriplegic so my mom and dad gotta help me with eeeeeeverything. When we go places they push me in my ‍wheelchair, that’s fun. But at home things can get kinda hard. I noticed my ‍mom and dad are struggling getting me upstairs now. They have to take me out of my wheelchair and carry me upstairs, sometimes it’s kind of scary because I’m getting to be a big girl. I’m going to be 13 years old in February and I just keep growing like a weed. If we had an elevator to get me upstairs it would be a big help for my ‍mom and dad. it would also be so much safer for me. My ‍mom and dad are getting older this would help them be able to take care of my needs without extra help.
