On January 2, 2019, heaven gained an angel. There are no words that can be said that will take away the pain and suffering we all feel in this moment. If you ever got to know Valerie, you will know that she was always a beautiful woman with a spirit that could put a smile on everyone's face that was in the room. The passion Valerie always had is something we should all aim to have. The drive for success that she always had is something I always looked up to. Seeing Valerie go to school, work, and take care of her family was something we all admired and honestly, was inspirational. We will always look up to you and will always make you proud.

My name is Rafael Santoni, a close family friend. Out of respect to the family, there is currently not enough information to share. I encourage you to share something beautiful about Valerie (whether it was a moment you shared with her or how much you admired her persona), along with any donation. ALL donations will be going to the Garcia Soldevilla Matos family to cover all expenses incurred in this sad moment.

We will be burying an angel and the family has asked, kindly, to wear light colors (preferably blue).
