Valerie Wong’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
In October 2023, Val experienced some unusual symptoms that prompted her to undergo further testing, leading doctors to discover a tumor at the head of her pancreas. The tumor was detected in its early stages, and, God willing, she successfully underwent surgery on November 23, 2023, for the removal of the tumor in a procedure called the Whipple procedure.
What lies ahead is 12 rounds of chemotherapy spanning the next several months, with the prayer that the cancerous cells remain localized. Additionally, prayers are for her body to remain strong enough to endure the recovery process.
Tiee and Val have six wonderful children ranging in age from 2 ½ to 18. They remain faithful to our Lord throughout this process. The funds collected through this fundraiser will support the family as they navigate the next several months of the recovery process. Tiee is currently on leave of absence to care for Val. The Wongs have always been humble and continue to only ask for prayer support. They are grateful for those who have reached out and continue to support the family through prayer. However, this page here is a way to support the family through these tough times financially.
