Valerie N. - Macy's Great American Marching Band

Hi, my name is Valerie and I have been spinning in color guard for 2 years. I was recently accepted into Macy's Great American Marching Band! This means that I will be going to New York for a week to rehearse and perform in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I have watched the parade for as long as I can remember and while watching it last year I came across an opportunity to be in it with Macy's Great American Marching Band! After doing some research I submitted my application and just before we left for state championships I was accepted! I am so grateful to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
