Hi friends!

For those of you who don’t know our story, we’re the Valenzuela’s! In August 2022, I (Bre) found out at 9 months pregnant that I have Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer. Fast forward to today, Cody and I have a beautiful and healthy 5month-old baby boy named Jace, and I’m 9/12 cancer treatments in! It’s been brutal, and getting more physically challenging as each chemo passes, but we’re so close to the finish line! Until treatment is over, there’s no telling how my body is reacting to the chemotherapy or what next steps will be (radiation, extended disability, etc).

Honestly, we contemplated making this Go Fund Me page, because we’ve been able to “figure out” ways to pay our bills each month, and have been blessed by meal trains, side hustles, and cancer grants to help offset the cost of medical bills and life expenses. Truth is: Cancer, an infant, and 40% less pay (due to disability) is pretty stressful! I hope that you feel 0 obligation to contribute, but know that if you do, we’re eternally grateful for lightening the load we’re carrying this season.

I’ve drawn a design commemorating this season that we’ve turned into a sticker that we intend to send to each person who contributes, whether it’s $1 or $100. Just as a way to say thank you, a little token of our gratitude :)
