VAL D "a lover & a fighter": his cancer journey
Donation protected
My name is Nicole Miskov and my nephew Valentino's story brings me here to start this GoFundMe page.
Valentino Adonis Louis Dziak was born on November 30, 2019. He was diagnosed with Horner's Syndrome in his left eye at three months old. This led to further discovery of Neuroblastoma diagnosis at four months of age. We waited and prayed for the possibility of his tumor to melt away. Unfortunately, his tumor increased in size by 43% and chemotherapy has been started.
This will be a lifelong journey for Valentino, my sister, her husband and their three year old son. During this time, the last thing I want them to think about are finances especially with Valentino's future health costs unknown for the long-term.
My goal for them is to focus all of their attention caring for Valentino and keeping their family strong. And when possible still trying to find time to enjoy life and make lasting happy memories. If this has taught us anything it is to not take our time together for granted.
Most importantly, if you could please keep my nephew and family in your positive thoughts or prayers and extend to them loving support that would mean the world to me. Additionally, if you are able to donate to help support Valentino's future it would help ease the financial burden that this diagnosis brings.
Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read this and for offering any support. My hope is that he will persevere through and we will come out as a stronger family and supportive to others in the battles that they fight.
Below is the link to his health blog if you would like to follow along on Valentino's personal journey.
