Valentine's Day Love for Latinx Community

I would like you to participate both financially and in person on Valentine’s Day Sunday 2/14 in a show of love for our Sonoma County Latinx community through art and healing messaging.
Artists from Los Raizes Collective from within the Roseland district of Santa Rosa have created visuals that will resonate with our Latinx Sonoma County brothers and sisters to see this vaccine as a messenger of healing, hope, and opportunity. This pandemic has taken its toll for too long on our mental health and taken too many lives along the way from our community.
We will spread the artwork broadly starting at 8 AM on Valentine's Day Sunday 2/14 throughout the Roseland community in Santa Rosa on Sebastopol Road between Stony Point Road and Dutton Avenue. Three peaceful VW buses full of posters of various sizes, lotería cards, and tape will be strategically located on geographic perimeters of this area.
The scope of the event has expanded, as loving ideas always do, to include several more towns in Sonoma County including Cloverdale, Healdsburg, Windsor, Rohnert Park, Petaluma and Sonoma.
This visual display will be peaceful, healing and loving on Valentine’s Day but will also agitate and provoke discussion about disproportionate health inequities that plague our Sonoma County Latinx communities. This is public health and only by building trust in the coronavirus vaccines will we be able to defeat coronavirus and begin the process of healing as one unified community. The scope of the cost for this project will be $20,000 to pay for 5,000 posters, 10,000 Lotería cards and Frog Tape, and to pay the artists for their essential contribution to the greater public health of our Sonoma County community.
