Danielle recently joined my real estate team, The Kelly Folden Group and we soon realized what an incredible, kind and giving person she is. She is always doing for others without question! Unfortunately on Saturday, March 25, Danielle and her two girls were in a major car accident. As Danielle was driving on Smith Rd in Fairlawn, another driver ran the red light hitting Danielle’s car at 55 mph. Danielle’s car rolled over 1 1/2 times and she and her daughters had to be cut out of the car. Danielle, Olivia and Morgan were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Danielle and Morgan were discharged on Sunday with injuries including concussions, and Danielle has multiple hematomas on the left side of her body. Unfortunately, Olivia’s injuries were serious and today, Thursday, March 30, she had an emergency surgery to remove 4" of her intestine due to injuries caused by the seatbelt. Olivia will be in the hospital for at least 4-5 more days and they ask for prayers for her continued healing. Morgan and Danielle are healing each day from their injuries while she continues to care for her children. Additionally, Danielle’s 11 year old son Carter, who was thankfully not in the vehicle at the time of the accident, was recently diagnosed with vasovagal syncope and orthostatic hypotension. He is still undergoing testing for possible POTs disorder and they are learning to live with his occasional fainting and hospital visits.

Not only is Danielle a single mom of these 3 children, but she has also been a foster parent for drug-addicted babies for years. She is one of the most selfless, kind and giving women I have ever met.

Danielle is not one to ask for help because she is a very proud and independent woman. During difficult times you have to let other people help and this is one of those moments in life. Danielle has been unable to work and will be the sole caretaker for her family while they all heal. If you are willing to help Danielle and her children with either a monetary donation or prayer, I assure you she will be a responsible steward with your generosity.

Your donations will help with living expenses and obtaining another vehicle because her car was totaled and she did not have gap insurance.
