Valentina Real Funeral Arrangements

My mother passed away last night after a long fight with Alzheimer’s disease. She has had the disease for a little over 12 years and just recently is experiencing trouble breathing. Out of nowhere at around 53 years of age my mother started to forget where she was, where she worked, how to ride a bus and even remember her children and grandchildren. A few years after being diagnosed with the disease my mother stopped feeling hope and fell into a deep depressive state which left her confined to a bed. My family and I have been trying our best possible to comfort her throughout this transition for years, but I think we have reached the end of the road. Her Hospice team has informed us that she has Pulmonary Distress and we are lucky if she lasts more than 48hrs. From one minute to another she started losing her breath, her skin became pail, has been put on oxygen support due to the shortage of breath. The reason why I need your help is because I have had to leave my job to take care of her and I do not have the sufficient funds to give my mother a proper burial. In my opinion it is the least I can do for my mother after she raised me in a single family household. She brought me to this country when I was 5 years old in hopes of making my future better than what she had in Cuba. I still remember who she used to be and how she would brighten any room she would walk into. My mother is my best friend, my savior and the most important person in my life. Please help me give my mommy what she deserves now that she is gone. Without your help I do not know what I will do.
