Desde entonces, las clases en la primaria se le han vuelto muy difíciles. Le cuesta muchísimo concentrarse, seguir las explicaciones y disfrutar con sus compañeritos. A veces la vemos esforzarse tanto… y se nos parte el corazón.Valentina es candidata perfecta para un implante coclear, un aparatito maravilloso que podría abrirle las puertas a un mundo de sonidos mucho más claro. Con él, podría escuchar casi como nosotros, terminar la primaria sin tantas barreras, aprender nuevas cosas con facilidad y, sobre todo, disfrutar de verdad la música, el baile y el arte que tanto ama. Hello, I'm Grecia, mom of Valentina, a beautiful 10-year-old girl who lights up everything around her with her smile and energy. Valentina was born with profound bilateral severe hearing loss, which means the world of sound has always been very limited for her. Since she was little, she has fought with all her little heart to be able to speak, learn, and play like any other girl. Thanks to her hearing aids and countless hours of therapy, she has managed to hear a little, say beautiful words, and understand as much as she can. She's a true champion!But in March 2025, something happened that broke our hearts: she lost almost half of the little hearing she had left in her right ear.
