Valentina hopes to walk & dance like her friends!
Donation protected
Hi - We are Fred and Gloria Soto, and our little friend Valentina hopes to walk someday. She was born with OI (osteogenesis imperfecta), also known as Brittle Bone Disease. Thanks to the generosity of the doctors and staff at Shriners Hospital she has had corrective surgery and medication to strengthen her bones, but Valentina (who is 7now) will need a lot of medication and surgery until she is at least 14. She is always smiling her infectious little smile and wants to be just like all her other little friends. She needs infusions every six months just to keep her bones from becoming brittle and breaking. Shriners has scheduled her for an extensive surgery in January. It will involve a back brace and rods in her legs along with corrections to the bones in her legs. Fortunately, the doctors feel that she has a very good chance of walking and living a normal life.
Please help with any amount you feel you can afford. Her family and all of us involved will be most appreciative of any amount you might contribute.
