Hi everyone.

We are the Vale of Leven Football Clubs 2014 team. We are proud to be part of an academy within one of Scotlands oldest and most recognised football clubs. Our 2014s have 4 strong teams currently playing 9 a side and will be moving to competitive football next season. Our is aim is to raise much needed funds to purchase additional equipment, provide winter training facilities and participation at tournaments and festivals throughout the UK.

West Dunbartonshire is one of the most deprived areas of Scotland yet fees to hire sports pitches are the highest in Scotland. Our local area is well known for producing excellent footballing talent as many have gone on to have successful professional playing careers. We want our kids to have those same opportunities and costs shouldn't be a barrier for a sport they love. The academy already provide a fantastic pathway from grassroots to first team level but the aim is to keep as many local children involved in football and be able to provide training let's throughout winter and experiences beyond that within a safe environment and create some lasting childhood memories for all the kids.
