Vale Darren Filsell

On Saturday 11th of September, Darren Filsell sadly passed away at the age of 43.

He was a devoted son who lived with his parents Mary and Jeff, acting as their primary caregiver. He cared deeply about helping those in need and spent years working at Life-Line and other social services designed to help the less fortunate.

The funds raised here will aid Mary and Jeff in funeral costs of laying Darren to rest. No parent should outlive their child. While no amount of money can ever replace him, we hope that this fundraiser may ease their burden slightly.

Darren was a big fan of pop culture and in particular, the toys and action figures often associated with them. He was part of a podcast that has listeners from around the world. His passion for toys was on full display and in many ways, he was the heart of the show.

He never had a bad word to say about anyone, just a genuine, honest soul when the world seemed only capable of sarcasm and fake news. Simply put, Darren was the nicest person you'd ever meet.
