Valarie Defilippis is a Slate Belt community favorite.  Val will drop anything to help anyone.  Now, it is our turn to help Val.

Val has been battling a painful, chronic disease called Hidradentis Suppurativa, HS--With no end in sight to relieve the pain, countless doctor appointments and many treatments the road to relief seemed helpless.  Finally, a doctor in California has contacted Val and has agreed to perform surgery to relieve her pain.  

Val is the person to go to when you need advice, or just a deep conversation.  With the brightest outlook on life, Val will say her famous word, "RELAX" and you will undoubtedly feel a sense of calm.  

As a natural helping hand, Val decided to pack up and move to Florida in order to take care of her mom.  No more snowy, cold PA winters; instead beach, sun and warmth. Sounds amazing right?

Unfortunately, as HS worsens quality of life lessens.
It has left Val in pain and indoors in sunny Florida.

Val has an awesome opportunity to work with the Doctor in California.  However, financially this opportunity is unreachable without our help.
