In a very unfortunate incident last Friday, July 6, Pomos, a small Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, was attacked and seriously injured by a local Syracuse man. Pomos is well-loved by his family and his human father was also seriously injured trying to defend Pomos from the attack.
Pomos's family loves him very deeply, as you can see from the photos of this adorable pup, but they are unable to come up with the funds to pay out of pocket for the care Pomos needs to make a full recovery.
The Volunteer Advocate Lawyer for Animal Abuse Court (VALAC) will not only advocate on behalf of Pomos in court, but will also be covering his vet bills stemming from this unprovoked attack. Pomos's vet bills will be distributed by VALAC directly to the treating veterinary facilities, thanks to your generous support of this Go Fund Me.
The VALAC program has a history of reimbursing for abused animals who are in need of medical care, and maintains a small fund through the Onondaga County Bar Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
