In Loving Memory of Vaimoana Fonua

As Vaimoana's family we're reaching out to ask for your support for my brother-in-law, Mosese Fonua, and his 4 children as they face an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time.

On Thursday, 21 August 2025, our beloved sister, Vaimoana Feohi-Moe-Langi Fonua, passed away suddenly. Vai was a fierce and loving woman, a devoted wife, a caring mother, a loyal sister, and a cherished daughter. She was always the first to offer help to anyone in need, with a heart full of kindness and strength.

Vai was in the hospital beside her 6-month-old son, Aminiasi, who was bravely fighting bacterial meningitis. Sadly, she collapsed and suffered a sudden heart attack while holding him in her arms. Baby Aminiasi is still receiving treatment, and has endured internal bleeding to the brain caused by the fall.

The Fonua family now faces the overwhelming challenge of navigating life without Vaimoana. Beyond their grief, there are urgent financial burdens, funeral expenses and the ongoing costs of caring for Aminiasi and his siblings.

We understand that everyone has their own responsibilities and challenges, but any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a massive difference in helping Mosese and the kids manage this new reality.
