Help Support Angela and her family!

Our colleague, Angela Zuniga, and her family recently lost their home and most of their belongings in a devastating house fire.

Angela’s 20-year-old daughter was using her laptop on a group call. She stepped away for a moment and when she returned, she found her laptop engulfed in flames, and the fire had swiftly spread throughout her room. Thankfully, Angela’s daughter was able to escape however she suffered first and second-degree burns on her arm and back.

Unfortunately, the fire ravaged the entire upstairs of Angela’s home, rendering it a total loss. Additionally, the water used to extinguish the flames caused extensive damage to the lower floor. The road to recovery is long, and it’s estimated that it will take between 8 months to a year before they can return to their home. After living in a hotel for about a month, they recently secured a rental property to make their home for the foreseeable future.

As you can imagine, the financial burden of starting anew is immense. The costs of repairing and rebuilding their house, replacing essential belongings, and providing proper medical care for their daughter's injuries are overwhelming.
