Dear friends and family,
As many of you may know, I lost my birth mother, Nicole, and my grandmother, Karen, to cancer in the last few years. These have been incredibly difficult times as I have struggled with my physical and mental health. Recently, I received the challenging news that I, too, have been diagnosed with Stage 3 or higher cancer. After two surgeries, one round of chemotherapy and radiation. I now need to have a third surgery and another round of chemotherapy and treatments.
I am currently unable to work, and the financial burden is overwhelming. The additional 3-hour drives to and from my doctor's appointments are adding up quickly, and I find myself needing gas money and struggling with mounting medical bills.
I understand that times are tough for everyone, and asking for help is never easy. However, if you could find it in your heart to sacrifice a Starbucks coffee a week and donate that amount to my cause, it would mean the world to me.
