My name is Maria Jigoulova and I am fundraising for the costs associated with the funeral arrangements and our daughter's future.
Vadim’s passing was sudden, and the loss is immeasurable. In honor of his memory and in support of his family during this incredibly difficult time, contributions are welcome and deeply appreciated.

His daughters, Anastasia and Sasha, face the future without their father, and any support offered will go toward easing their path forward.
It is with profound sorrow and love that we remember Vadim Jigoulov – a loving husband and father, a wonderful friend, a dedicated scholar, and a deeply respected teacher - who passed away after a brave fight with cancer.
Vadim dedicated his life to the life of the mind and heart. As a professor of Religious Studies at Morgan State University, and an instructor at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the Department of Humanistic Studies. Vadim inspired his students not only with his knowledge but with his deep humanity. He had a gift for opening minds and connecting souls - always encouraging, always thoughtful, always present.
He was a scholar who loved to teach, but even more, a man who loved deeply. His heart belonged to his family - his beloved wife, Maria, and his two daughters, Anastasia and Sasha - whom he cherished beyond words.
Vadim Jigoulov leaves behind a legacy of compassion, intellect, and profound love. He touched so many lives, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
