Hi, my name is Casey.

My 16 month old daughter, Vada, began having a dozen seizures a day on November 12, 2022. We immediately drove down to UCSF Benioff's Children's Hospital and had a week long stay to try to understand why this suddenly began. We had a 5 day video EEG, MRI, Lumbar Puncture, Genetic Tests and bloodwork. She tried 3 'aggressive' RXs and they did not reduce or help her seizure activity. We have a Pediatric Epilepsy Specialist and are in the process of getting her on KETO Diet led by UCSF Dietician team. We are using Cannabis oils and have had some success but also have seen her seizures continuing to surge and be resistant to our oils.

We hired on a local Naturopathic MD to dig into her functional health. We are in process of hiring Bonnie Goldstein to help guide our Cannabis dosing. We are looking into second opinion for Stanford Neurology team. We are scouting Brain Institutes for neurofeedback. We can't find the help for our girl quick enough. It is absolutely gut wrenching to see her having so many seizures and feel so helpless. Her brothers have been supportive warriors during this scary time.

Sean and I will continue pushing for answers every day until we get her seizure free. Any thing will help us to find more answers to help cure our girl.
