My Father's Passing...

hey everyone, so as many of you may know, I lost my dad last month and it was super unexpected. He had some minor health issues and it all just happened so fast and sent my world into a downward spiral and me and my mom were so caught off guard by what happened that our lives changed drastically in ways we were not ready for. After he got pneumonia and then 6 months later covid it really messed him up that he had to be on oxygen everyday. He developed an uncurable disease called Interstitial Lung Disease: Pulmonary Fibrosis.. I don't think anyone can really be ready for anything like this, but given our situation its a bit different.

We went to bury my father in the Dominican Republic because thats what he wanted and we are now back home going over anything and everything we need to do.

My father's income helped a lot due to the fact he was disabled and my mother is disabled and cannot work, and my main job was taking care of my father, and to an extent, my mother as well. But I only got paid to care for my father. But without him I am essentially without a job and my mother and I have begun paperwork for me to care for her, but if anyone knows how Mass Health works and how our medical system works, it'll take sometime for us to actually make this happen.

So I am starting this go fund me to take care of any left over affairs that have to do with my father, He did have life insurance, but as many of you know, its more expensive to die than to live it seems. So we will be using any fundings from this to take care of anything else left in my dad's passing and the rest to pay our bills and put food on the table. I understand that its really hard for anyone to donate anything these days as times are tough and only getting tougher, so if you cannot donate, please share this to help me and my mother out. The stress of my fathers passing and what we are going to do next has started to take effect on her mental and physical health and I myself, having to do a lot for the funeral, the planning, and dealing with family in the Dominican Republic, there was really no time for me to grieve properly and it's finally catching up and it's begun to wear me down since I got home.

So any and all help you can give, my mother and I, would greatly appreciate it even if its just a simple share.
