Hola, mi nombre es Paola, tengo 22 años y hace poco fui diagnosticada con cáncer.

Los médicos me han indicado que necesito una tiroidectomía con urgencia, una cirugía para remover la tiroides, seguida de un tratamiento con radiación para evitar que el cáncer se extienda y poder recuperar mi salud.

Recibir esta noticia ha sido muy difícil, no solo en lo emocional, sino también en lo económico. No cuento con los recursos necesarios para cubrir los costos de la cirugía ni del tratamiento posterior. Mi mamá, amigos y yo hemos intentado buscar soluciones, pero los gastos son demasiado altos para afrontarlos solos.

Por eso recurro a ustedes con humildad y esperanza. Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que sea, será un paso más hacia mi recuperación. Si en este momento no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también significa muchísimo para mí.

Hi, my name is Paola. I’m 22 years old, and I was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Doctors have told me that I urgently need a thyroidectomy, a surgery to remove my thyroid, followed by radiation treatment to help stop the cancer from spreading and to protect my long-term health.

This news has been overwhelming, not just emotionally, but financially. I don’t have the resources to afford the surgery or the treatment that follows. My mom, friends and I are doing everything we can, but the cost is more than we can handle on our own.
