I like volleyball because it’s a fun and exciting sport that keeps me motivated to improve. I got into it thanks to my gym teacher, Mr. Polak, who encouraged me to join the school’s boys volleyball team. Ever since then, it’s been an amazing experience full of opportunities.

For example, I joined a club called Impact, found out about open gyms, and met new people who helped me get better. Through Impact, I even got the chance to travel to Florida to play in the AAU Nationals against teams from all over the U.S. That was a great experience because it showed me what high-level volleyball is like and taught me how to handle pressure. Volleyball is fun for me because I enjoy it, and I’m pretty good at it too.
