El jueves 28 de agosto nuestra vida cambió en un instante. Mientras seguíamos la rutina de papás primerizos, a punto de bañar a la bebé, una explosión en casa nos sorprendió. Fueron segundos de miedo, bomberos, policías… y la vida de mi esposo Luis en riesgo.

Gracias a Dios, y al increíble trabajo de los médicos, hoy Luis sigue con nosotros. Han sido días muy duros: 12 en coma inducido, complicaciones de salud y quemaduras que aún requieren cuidados e incluso posibles injertos. Pero lo más importante es que sigue aquí, luchando con toda su fuerza, y eso me llena de esperanza y gratitud.

Ahora enfrentamos una nueva prueba: los gastos médicos. Aunque contamos con seguro, no todo está cubierto y la cuenta ha crecido muchísimo. Por eso, con toda humildad, les pido su apoyo para que Luis continúe recibiendo la atención que necesita.

Gracias de corazón por cada palabra de aliento, cada oración y cada muestra de cariño. Su amor y apoyo nos sostienen en este camino, y estoy segura de que con la fuerza de todos, Luis saldrá adelante.

Hello everyone

On Thursday, August 28th, our lives changed in an instant. While we were following the routine of new parents, about to bathe the baby, an explosion at home surprised us. It was a few seconds of fear, firefighters, police officers... and my husband Luis's life was at risk.

Thank God, and the incredible work of the doctors, Luis is still with us today. These have been very tough days: 12 in an induced coma, health complications, and burns that still require care and even possible grafts. But the most important thing is that he's still here, fighting with all his strength, and that fills me with hope and gratitude.

Now we face a new test: medical expenses. Although we have insurance, not everything is covered, and the bill has grown enormously. Therefore, with all humility, I ask for your support so that Luis continues to receive the care he needs.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every word of encouragement, every prayer, and every show of affection. Your love and support sustain us on this journey, and I'm sure that with everyone's strength, Luis will succeed.
