Help Jay and his Family

Donation protected

My lifelong friend, Jay Foster, is a great father and friend who would do anything to help others. Yesterday, he was given an uncommon diagnosis of Lemierre’s Syndrome, which is an infectious thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein.
Fewer than 4 in 1 million people get this. If it ruptures, Jay is at a high risk of getting sepsis or a blood clot. He is looking at a possible 2 week stay in the hospital if all goes well. So far, the lump on his jugular has gotten bigger since they started treatment, so Jay is in a lot of pain and is at a high risk of this getting worse.

Jay and his wife, Lesley, have 6 children (5 minors and 1 adult) and could use our help. He unfortunately lost his job just last week, and they now have no way to pay bills and expenses while Jay gets treated. Jay would never ask for help, but would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I know he’s scared right now, not just for his condition, but the added stress of wondering how his family will get by.

I’m asking you to please help out in ANY way you can. If you’re able to donate even $5, every little bit will help. Prayers and thoughts are welcome as well. Please help my buddy and his family if you can.

Thank you!

UPDATE 3/9/20
