The Tavern at the Mill are raising money for a local cause, Fylde Kid’s Foundation, Demi, our Deputy Manager, has decided to take on the challenge of running 100 miles over the month of January.

Demi over the past 18 months has turned her health totally around, loosing over 10 stone in weight, the majority of her adult life couldn’t run 1 mile, so committing to running 100 miles over January will be such an achievement but she is so focused because of the goal, to raising as much money as possible for such a wonderful charity.

Fylde Kid’s Foundation has one simple mission and is that they believe that no child on the Fylde Coast should go without the essentials they need to grow, thrive and reach their full potential. By working closely with schools, community groups, clubs and local organisations, they are committed to making a real impact supporting families today while helping to build a brighter, more positive future for generations to come.
