Jason and Kelly,

We want you to know how much love and support you have from your family, friends, and community. Please lean on all of us during this difficult time just as many of us have leaned on you both over the years as we struggled to deal with our own issues. It is our time to rally around you and give the love, support, and assistance you need. You can and will get through this.

As most of you who read this are already aware, Jason suffered a series of strokes during the weekend of June 27th. As a result, he has been hospitalized with limited use of his right side. In typical Jason fashion, his attitude has been great and his spirit unbreakable. I’m completely confident that his courage and determination (and stubbornness) will help him overcome this unfortunate series of events. However, the road to recovery is rarely straightforward and is never easy. I write this in an effort to bring people together to support Kelly and Jason during this difficult journey.

We have created this fundraiser to provide financial, emotional, and practical support for them during this challenging time. We hope the proceeds will offer some financial relief for Jason‘s medical expenses, therapy, and any unforeseen costs. Perhaps this will allow Kelly to focus on his recovery without the added stress of these unexpected financial burdens. Your donations, prayers, and words of encouragement will help them and their family get through these difficult times as he recovers.
