Living / medical expenses

Never in my life would I think I'd be in this position, yet here I am. April 1, 2015 I underwent spinal fusion surgery where something went terribly wrong. I developed a life threatening infection in my back which had to be drained surgically. 9 days in the ICU I developed c-diff and was then advised I needed a colostomy bag due to a tear in my colon. It has been the worst nightmare imaginable for myself and my family. Medical bills are piling in as is the cost of a visiting nurse and medication I need to fight this infection. My insurance deductible and co insurance are just too much. Disability covers $190 a week before taxes, we are drowning with no hope in sight. My daughters fathers pays little to no child support so my husband is working two jobs to keep things going until I am fully healed, which we just don't know when that will be. I am humiliated it's come to this but I pray that the generosity I've shown others in the past will help us now through such a difficult time, thank you all so much for all the love & support I've received thus far- I am truly humbled xoxo ~Lisa
