This past august my sweet friend, McKenzie, was diagnosed with stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer. No one deserves that diagnosis, but especially not Kenz. She’s just 31, a wife & new mom. She is currently going through chemo & has a really long road towards recovery ahead of her. She has continued to get up every morning & stay positive. She’s still working full time, caring for Paisley & taking care of a home. But the chemo is grueling & now, on top of not feeling like herself, she’s also lost her hair.
I wasn’t aware, as I’m sure most people aren’t, but real hair wigs are extremely expensive. Mckenzie would never spend this type of money on something for herself. While it might seem somewhat un-extraordinary, I think that being able to do her hair & go about feeling more like her old self is something that could really ease McKenzie’s spirits & boost her morale. If you’re able to, please join me in helping get this hair for McKenzie so that she can be a bit more comfortable during this super difficult time. ❤️
