Eddie McAdoo was in an unfortunate accident and sustained serious injuries, including severe brain trauma. He has undergone surgery to remove part of his skull in an attempt to control the bleeding and swelling and is in a semi-conscious state. He remains in ICU with an uncertain prognosis. Eddie’s family is by his side and has faith that he will fully recover. Unfortunately, due to the specific area of brain trauma (motor skills/ speech), there is no way to know how long this may take and the doctors expect a lengthy process.

For those who may not know, Eddie is a recent cancer survivor and, although he is fully recovered, the family has been through a very difficult time financially in recent years. We four childhood friends of Eddie’s wife, ask that you take a minute and say a prayer for their family in the hopes that the Lord will bring Eddie a fast and complete recovery. But the fact remains that he will not be able to work for an indefinite amount of time, the cancer ordeal was a financial handicap and their only daughter is to be married in a few months. It is a certainty that money will be an issue and we are asking for your help. Every dollar will make a difference and no amount is too small so please consider giving whatever you can to help this family make it through this crisis. We have set a goal of $10,000 but have no idea what they will actually need. It is a certainty that the McAdoos will appreciate whatever we can gather whether it is $10 or $10,000. Our hands may be tied with regard to physically making Eddie better but we can help them all by relieving a bit of the financial pressure they are sure to experience.
