My aunt Claudia Zamora has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Uterine and Colon Cancer. She has recently undergone a surgery in Seattle and has started radiation/chemotherapy. She will also be undergoing an amino cancer therapy if she is approved for it down the road. With treatments, chemotherapy and trips to Seattle, WA, it has been financially difficult.
Her husband, my uncle Arturo, is not currently working in order to be with his wife and support her through this exhausting battle. Claudia and Arturo have two children, Melissa (17) a rising high school senior and Arturo Jr (14) a rising middle school student. Arturo is the sole source of income for their family. Though their privacy must be respected, it's worth noting that with two kids in school and my aunts medical treatments, they need our help to provide for Claudia's health care, pay bills and to support their children's' educational wellbeing.
I think it is clear to anyone who knows the Zamora-Castillo family that Claudia is compassionate, kind, outgoing, and a loving individual who would do anything for her family and friends. The Zamora family has always been a loving and welcoming family, so I am writing this on my family's behalf to ask for donations to alleviate some of the financial stress and medical bills during this tough battle against cancer.
