Support Our Recovery After Hurricane Helene

We Survived the Asheville flood during Hurricane Helene. Insurance didn't cover flood and FEMA Hasn't sufficiently funded everything we lost. We were traveling the beautiful Blue ridge parkway and the gate was closed during the Hurricane. We came off the mountain and we found a carwash to take cover from the rain. Within minutes of being in the car wash the Swannanoa river was directly behind us. The water washed away everything we owned. It went from ankle deep to neck deep in 5 minutes. We took refuge on top of the carwash for 9 hours and awaited our death or rescue.

Surprisingly we were rescued by a rescue boat. We are thankful to G-D for saving our lives and can't complain much of the things we lost. It's been hard since digging ourselves out of the trench we are currently in. We are currently trying to find employment within the Fayetteville area. I'm currently a reservist In the US Army. My wife Hadeel is a Medical Doctor but not currently licensed in the United States. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.. Thank you and G-D bless.
