Support Ukraine

On January 2, my wife Ira and I will be returning to Ukraine where we were staying when the war started. Our plan while we are there is firstly to spend some time with a team of missionaries that are based in the city "Lutsk". This team has been over in Ukraine since the war began raising money to be able to go into different villages that currently have a lack for food of any sort and with empty stores, and provide some necessities for the locals for free. For the past couple months, their priority has been bringing as much food and as many supplies as their small team can gather into villages that were previously occupied by Russia but have now been taken back by Ukraine. Most of these villages have ran dry of food completely and every time this team comes with food, they manage to get lines of hundreds and even thousands of people by coordinating with the «head or mayor» of the village who has the ability to get in contact with everyone. We will be raising money for this team to be able to keep providing food and supplies for villages of people in need. This is especially vital now as the extremely cold winter months of the year are close and in Ukraine they are already here.

Additionally, we will work with a University in Kyiv named «Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University». Together with some of the staff I have worked with in the past, we are working on the planning and fund raising to be able to teach English and leadership to school students in some of the villages outside of Kyiv but within the outer Kyiv region. At this time, because of the war, a lot of students are at their homes outside the city for the sake of safety. Additionally, because of the war, most students have to study online. Both of these factors have really limited the opportunity for young students to efficiently learn English language which is a goal for most students at the moment with knowing that at some point, like many others, they may have to leave their homes for another country to a whole new world with a different language. The idea is to bring these camps to the less fortunate areas where students are living at the moment and give them a good chance to learn English while teaching leadership values at the same time.

Any donations will be such a huge blessing and will be put directly to use to help Ukrainians in need.
