My name is Jennifer Roode and I need your help!

Lucy is an 11-year-old Wire Hair Fox Terrier rescue dog. I have had her since July 18, 2020. Lucy has a mass in her bladder that has been "band-aided" with medication until yesterday. She released blood instead of urine, so a third trip to the vet happened today (08/21/25). I was told she needs surgery in order to remove the mass. We do not know what the mass is, but we do know it is not supposed to be there. Up to today, I have already spent $1,500, and the surgery is going to cost $2,200. I do not have the money to do the surgery, and I need help. The vet did an ultrasound and collected a urine sample, confirming there's elevated white blood cells, which indicates an infection along with the unknown mass. The surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th. Lucy has been my best friend, faithful companion, and rock when life has dealt some pretty hard blows in the last few years. She is fun-loving and still full of life. I sacrifice for myself to give her the best life I can. Please find it in your heart to help me get this surgery done. I am forever grateful to you all!
