Yesterday we tragically lost a cousin, friend, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and an all-around genuinely sweet human being, Nekye Smith. Nothing could have ever prepared our family for this heartbreaking loss. Not even the crushing loss of his mother in 2021, and his sister's passing in 2014 changed his positive outlook on life. His respectful manner and love of family and friends were just part of his endearing personality. Because of his age, there was no life insurance on Nekye. We graciously ask for any assistance to help give him the proper final rest that he deserves. We love you Nekye.
