When we work together, as family and friends, we can accomplish great things that we cannot accomplish alone.
My friends, many of you know, and are also friends with Ed Shacklock, Jr. Even if you do not personally know Ed, I would ask you, as a friend of mine, to consider even a small contribution to this fund. Ed is also a Hubbard High Alumni.
Here is Ed's Story:
Ed found out through his doctors on Friday, August 28 that he has Small Cell Lung Cancer. Ed stopped smoking 18 years ago. This cancer is malignant and fast moving. As you can imagine, this news has been devastating. For Ed to have any chance of survivability, he must be seen by a cancer doctor immediately. Speed is of the essence.
Ed only has medicare type A (for hospitals). He had given up his policy through Obamacare due to affordability. He was given an appointment for an Oncologist but was told that he needs to get insurance first. Ed is trying to find insurance, but not having any luck.
Please help Ed have a chance to beat this cancer. Without our support, Ed will not be able to afford treatment. Even the smallest of donations will help. In addition to your monitary contribution, prayers are needed and welcomed.
I thank you for your generosity, in advance, my friends.
