The Urquilla Family

The Urquilla/Navarro family really needs our help. January 2019, Elva Navarro was given the news that she could have signs of cancer, and was then, put under observation. She had multiple check ups with multiple doctors, for months but with every doctor, they would give insufficient answers, claiming that they didn’t know for sure whether it was cancer or not. In November, Elva had to go to the hospital due to intolerable back pain. She made this trip only to be sent back home within a few hours because “it was just back pain”, she probably hurt herself, and it would go away soon. March 2020, she went to the hospital again for the same reason, only this time was held for a whole week, and was officially told that she had cancer. Asa result, Elva began chemotherapy, whichwas thought to be going good, considering the change in percentages. However, in August, Elva and her family were given the news that her cancer was Stage 4 and there was nothing more that they could do for her. Last night, we lost one of the most kind, loving, and outgoing members of the family. She never hesitated to try and bring a smile and positivity to the people around her. She holds a special place in all the hearts she was able to touch in herlifetime and will forever be remembered as a woman of big faith, shamelessly sharing her love for God to the world. 

Her body is currently at her apartment and is waiting to be taken to a Mortuary, where she will only be held for 1-2 days. In order to move forward with her burial, we need to pay all of the funeral expenses upfront. We didn’t expect her to leave us so soon. We have until then to try and gather enough money so that we can move forward.
