Please Help!!! Make A Family Safe
Donation protected
Hi my name is Peta and I have started this page to help support a very good friend of mine Simone and her children.
Simone is a hard working single mother of two teenagers. She saved for a long time for her house deposit and waited for her new family home to be built. Like many of us Simone has made huge sacrifices to provide what she thought would be a safe home for herself and most of all her children.
Simone was so happy when her house was finally built in April and she received the keys.
she moved in with her children and they started to unpack and set up the house. They were happy!
in September while Simone was out with some friends for dinner she received a devastating phone call from her son. He was petrified and said someone was trying to break in and they had smashed the front window. He grabbed his sister and the dog and hid out the back while calling 000. Simone raced home to a broken window. While the police were there they found out that it was Simone’s next door neighbour who has 24 hour care for mental health.
Long story short this has happened over 6 times now and twice in the last 3 days. Each time with multiple house windows being broken with paint tins, sauce bottles, rocks, coffee jars, peanut butter jars, etc. These did not just smash windows but sprayed the ingredients all over her fence, windows, house, frames and carpet. Which is now ruined due to this neighbour targeting Simone’s property.
Simone has an interim IVO. From the courts on him, but he has already broken it and been arrested and charged by the police twice. Every time to be returned home an hour or so later.
Simone has contacted everyone from NDIS, Police, Courts, Local Politicians, Legal Advice and more to hit a dead end at every corner she turns.
This has made a huge negative impact on Simone and her children’s mental health. They are all petrified in their own home and are not sleeping properly.
Simone has spent so much money, actually over $6000 to try and repair her house windows, car windows and to clean up the glass and mess.
Please donate as little or as much as you can to help Simone financially and put in measures to try and keep herself and children safe.
I know she is a proud person, but I also know she needs this and would appreciate any amount.
