In August 2022, our dear friend Sarah Murphy was diagnosed with cancer. After several more scans, biopsies and MRI's, it was determined that Sarah has Stage 4, triple positive breast cancer with widespread bone metastasis throughout her spine, hips, ribs and neck, as well as a compression fracture at T4 (upper spine). Her medical team has also discovered metastasis to the brain and a ‘BRACA2’ genetic mutation, which indicates that Sarah was genetically predisposed to this disease. Sarah began treatment on November 8 after being accepted into a late-stage clinical drug trial and will remain in treatment for the foreseeable future.

Since August, Sarah's life has been a non-stop barrage of life-changing decisions regarding her course of care, clinical trials and quality of life. The impact of such a diagnosis is swift and deeply felt. With this fundraising campaign, we hope to rally together to support Sarah and her partner Dave and ease the financial burdens and strains these circumstances have created. As two working artists, this new reality has a serious and immediate impact on their financial security. Your support will help with medical and monthly expenses and allow Sarah and Dave to focus their much-needed energy on fighting this disease and healing.
